What is a Vasogram?

Complete evaluation of azoospermic and severely oligospermic men requires demonstration of vas deferens patency. Vasography is the radiological procedure used to evaluate patency of the vas deferens and ejaculatory ducts.

How it is done?

The procedure involves injection of the contrast material into the vas deferens. A rapid, simple, and safe procedure for vasography by which the epididymis, vasa deferens, seminal vesicle, and ejaculatory duct can be visualized is described.

What are the complications of vasography?

There was no evidence that vasography caused damage to the vas deferens and no oligozoospermic man became azoospermic. There have been no immediate or long-term complications.
